ReconstitutionAfter opening the vial, the lyophilized content is reconstituted by adding 1 ml of sterile distilled water, mixed gently by inversion until complete dissolution is obtained. Allow to stand at ambient temperature for 5-10 minutes to reach equilibrium. Reconstituted serum may be stored frozen.
StorageStore lyophilized material at 2-8 °C. For long term storage after reconstitution, prepare small aliquots and store at -20 °C. For storage at 2-8 °C, add a preservative to prevent growth of bacteria.This product is used as a blocking reagent or control for most immunoassay applications.
